In addition to Dr. Locke’s leadership role in the iHope Network, he is a primary care psychiatrist in the primary care tele-psychiatry consulting service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and also a research psychiatrist in the Division of Clinical Informatics. Dr. Locke teaches at Harvard Medical School as Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and at MIT where since 1999 he has been the founding director of a graduate course on e-health and m-health entrepreneurship in the Harvard/MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. He is past-President of the American Psychosomatic Society and a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. In 2009 Dr. Locke was awarded the Stangler Prize for Innovation by the American Association for Technology in Psychiatry. Dr. Locke still has an active practice of integrative primary care psychiatry.
